CAPABILITY OVERVIEW:

Guardian Technology Group was formed in May 2004. The owners and key personnel have over 90 years combined experience in providing equipment, hardware and gear for defense related programs. Guardians niche markets and core products include; hardware and equipment for small caliber weapons systems and handling and transport equipment.

Guardian offers a full range of precision machining and certified welding services as well as installation and training support. Current customers include: Army Ammunition Activity, Crane IN, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane IN, Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island IL, Tank and Automotive Command, Rock Island IL, and Defense Supply Center, Columbus OH. Commercial customers include; Raytheon Corp., BAE Systems, General Dynamics Corp, Science Applications International Corp., and URS Federal Services Incorporated.

Guardian personnel has been actively involved in prototyping, and production of numerous small caliber weapons support systems for the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Special OPS, as well as several foreign customers. Applications include: ships, small attack craft, vehicles, tanks and helicopters.

The company currently holds an ISO 9002 compliance rating with the Department of Defense and is expecting full certification in the near future.

Although the preponderance of past work has been primarily for military applications, Guardian is able to support virtually any commercial endeavor where close tolerance machining, welding, assembly, testing and prototyping is required. Marketing efforts are currently being conducted in the construction equipment, container closure and medical device industries.

Guardian Technology is located in a modern 25,000 square foot plant at 1100 East Elmore St. Crawfordsville, IN. All production and inspection equipment is top of the line and in excellent condition. All internal management processes and procedures are being controlled by a newly activated E2 management software system.
